Our hormone replacement program is individualized based on your particular health needs, but generally, it includes:
Your Initial Consultation
H.E.A.L. Medical Corp’s bio identical hormone replacement program begins with a private one-on-one conversation with Dr. Marsha. Your consultation can be done via videoconference if desired. During your conversation, Dr. Marsha will review your health concerns, answer your questions, and recommend an appropriate lab panel for the development of your hormone replacement program.
We have a particular lab we work with where you can go for your initial blood work. Your initial labs require 8 hours fasting. Lab results typically take approximately 10 days, so in order to make the most of your time with Dr. Marsha we encourage you to schedule your labs at least 2 weeks before you return for your first appointment.
Your First Appointment
Our program is physician-managed, involving an extensive consultation, evaluation, and program development. After your initial consultation, plan to spend one to one-and-a-half hours with Dr. Marsha during your first program appointment. During that appointment, we’ll discuss your health and lifestyle questionnaire and review your lab results, focusing on your unique hormone levels and how they’re working in your body. Dr. Marsha will evaluate your hormone levels and discuss with you how you might achieve optimal levels. Based on your labs, she will tailor a hormone replacement program specifically for you. Your appointment concludes with a detailed review and discussion of your health issues, prescription ordering, and follow-up appointment scheduling. At the end of your appointment, you’ll receive a copy of your labs as well as Dr. Marsha’s written notes.
Ongoing program management allows us to achieve the best possible patient results. Follow-up appointments are an integral part of our approach. While you can expect to feel better very soon, achieving an optimal hormonal balance for your body is a process, not a quick fix. Your first follow-up will be approximately 60 days later, and then every 3 months until hormone levels and symptoms are resolved. After that, a yearly follow-up may be sufficient.
Practice Hours & Cancellation Policy
Our practice hours are by appointment only. Appointments are prompt and private. We have a strict 72-hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel your appointment more than 72 hours before the time of your appointment, we will apply a $50 late fee.
